Signs by Jukes is a family owned and operated business. We’ve been providing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding area with custom signs, vehicle graphics, service and installation since 1940.

The sign industry has changed drastically since our beginning in a small garage studio. From brush lettering to digital printing, technology has increased the speed and precision of our work. Crane and bucket trucks have made installation quicker, easier and much safer than the days of ladders, planks and pulleys.
All of these advancements have made it a great time to be a sign guy.

Although many things have changed we strive to maintain the same values the company was founded on: honesty, integrity, the best service and our sense of humour.

Rube Jukes - Founder

Rueben Jukes founded our company in his garage in 1940.
Rube was a Vaudeville strongman, stage set artist and WWI soldier, well known in the K-W community as a man of talent, integrity and fun. It's rumoured that Rube was seen, on more than one occasion, hand lettering billboard signs while standing on his head just to grab the attention of those walking by.

Don Jukes - Former President

After Rube passed away his son Don carried on the business from 1959-1988 expanding the size of our shop and the range of our services.
